FOCUS
Use the WaveRider to learn how to improve concentration.
The concentration exercises that follow should be thought of as a starting point. Settings
should be adjusted to accomodate individuals.
Increasing the power in higher frequency brainwave bands and decreasing power in lower
frequency bands can improve concentration and attention. The higher range frequencies may
include: 12-15 Hertz (SMR), 15-18 Hertz (Beta), 14 Hertz, 16-21 Hertz and 12-22 Hertze
etc. Lower frequency bands may include 4-8 Hertz, 2-6 Hertz, 2-7 Hertz, 5-8 Hertz etc.
There are a variety of opinions on the efficacy of different protocols as there are on electrode
placements.
BETA/THETA trains the increase of BETA (15-18 Hertz) and the decrease of Theta.
SMR/THETA trains the increase of SMR (12-15 Hertz) and the decrease of Theta.
THETA SUPPRESS simply suppresses Theta.
